How To Keep The Kids Entertained On Rainy Days

The sun is shining, the weather is improving and there’s a whole world outside for the kids to explore! However thew English weather is unpredictable and cold and rainy days are sure to come. How do you keep the kids entertained when it’s rainy and cold outside?

You’ve exhausted all of the usually activities, colouring, plasticine, a DVD and the kids are bored. How about trying something different?

We all know kids love goo and slime and mess! My little girl is no exception. We were sent the Gelli Worlds Fantasy Pack to try and review. We are already big fans of Gelli Baff, you can see how my daughter Izzy got on with a big bath full of Gelli in the video below!

Izzy is obsessed with fairies and unicorns, she loves imaginative play and the Gelli Worlds Fantasy Pack is the perfect toy to create a mini adventure.

The box came with five sachets of powdered Gelli, unicorn and fairy figures, instructions and an inflatable play tray. The best part of this activity for me is the inflatable tray, it means all of the Gelli and mess stays in one place!

Simply mix water with one sachet of the powdered Gelli, give it a stir and away you go!

Izzy spent a good hour playing with the fairies and little figures in the Gelli. When playtime has finished simply pour the Gelil down the loo and give the figures and tray a rinse under the tap.

Izzy has repurposed the try and made it into a little air bed for her doll!

The Gelli World pack is made by Zimplikids, they have a huge selection of Gelli, slime and snowball games and activities to choose from.
