We have officially survived the winter months and warmer weather is rapidly approaching.  It is the time of the year when people’s moods suddenly improve and motivation amps itself up.  There is no better time than right now to think about spring cleaning. What can be put off for a while and what are the major needs. Is the ceiling in need of a fresh coat of paint or have your rugs been through the winter grind and it may be time to look for rugs for sale.

De-Clutter

Clutter causes a tremendous amount of stress.  When things appear to be neat and organized, people feel like they have order in their life.  Spring cleaning in the perfect time to go through your closet and decide what to keep and what to donate to charity.  Go through your bookshelves and decide what really needs to be there and what can be removed. Look at the room as a whole and see what is just simply taking up space and remove it.

Don’t forget the walls and windows

This can be an especially big problem on the outside.  Invest in a power washer or outsource it to a company of your choice.  All kinds of dust and dirt build up on the outside of your house that many people forget about when they are trying to work on the inside.  The same can be true for the inside walls and windows. They need some love too!

The air you breathe

Brighten the house up

Spring is the perfect time to take some of your dull and bland rooms and really brighten them up with vibrant, mood enhancing colors.  Set the tone for how you want to feel this spring and summer and make your house be visually appealing to make that happen. It will take some work, but the rewards of a clean, bright, cheerful house will lead to your best spring yet!
